The school is at its lowest point. This school has air conditioning in all portable classrooms which is great...If they worked. In the normal block classrooms all rooms have ceiling fans! Which move at incredible speeds! (sarcasm) These fans also barely work... Instead the school has decided to invest its money on cameras which is genius! Now teachers can relax in their air conditioned rooms and watch students from a screen while students suffer in unbearable heat thinking of how they're going to get through the rest of the day in the Sahara desert...It is also frustrating that the newest principle (for reasons unknown and not explained to the year group) has decided to remove the year 10 students study time during their examination week and has instead forced them to go to normal classes before and after exams which is utterly ignorant as it would be much better for the students to have time to study for their upcoming exam instead of sitting and learning geography before their science exam. This is putting the current year 10 grade at a massive disadvantage to the previous year groups. It's ironic that teachers want to see the entire grade improve and become motivated to do well in their exams, when they're taking away the extra study time needed... It is as if they don't realise that they're the reason that most of the grade is struggling. I sincerely hope someone competent sees this and makes some improvements...
MAYBE you should have installed air conditioners INSTEAD of the security cameras
The school needs better air conditioning cause it gets really hot in summer and instead they spend it on security cameras and tv monitors in the hallway corridors

For all the people who rave on about how bad the school is and that people who send their children there don't love them, that is an absolute lie. Glenwood High School is a fantastic school and as my cousin goes there, I can say that the bullying children that used to be there have now either been punished and learnt their lesson or graduated. The teachers are wonderful and are part of the reason this giant school is flourishing and going higher and higher in rankings every year. Glenwood High School is a really good school and their GAT classes are good too.
